Transferring Issues to new Repository

Welcome to my Ted Talk…

I wanted to start a discussion on whether people see a need to move issues from one repository to another. This is not meant to be “poll” but more if I am the only one who sees a need in this.

I think it would be a very good tool to have a button or form to move one issue to another repository. I understand id’s can be conflicting but I am sure there is a reasonable solution that can be determined.

Does anyone know if they have planned to add this feature? Or have said outright no to it?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

So funny. I was thinking this yesterday myself. Exactly this. I wondered precisely the same.

GitLab has this, which I came from. I much prefer Gitea but that is one missing thing, as well as ability to search everywhere and everything. I would love a search option at the top of everything or even responding to Ctrl+K as is becoming the convention.
