I am attempting to deploy gitEA (using gitea-1.14.5-gogit-windows-4.0-386.exe ) binary on windows and it does launch and I can configure
However, it takes 5minutes to actually launch and as a result setting it up as a windows service fails as windows has a 30second timeout. I would rather not change the timeout to 10minutes and understand why it is so slow to initilise.
Once aspects of the self-contained binary start (the checking etc…) its quick and likewise navigating 127.0.0.1:3000 is fluid, so this this is limited in the initial launching of gitEA on windows.
Any ideas why ?
it is a windows server 2012 being targeted but it is being tested on a windows10 2004 instance iirc
