Hello everybody!

I have installed Gitea (1.17.1) on an Ubuntu machine a long while ago. Now I wanted to upgrade to the latest and greatest. I created a backup of the (MySql) database, stopped the service (`servicectl stop gitea`) and went into the `/usr/local/bin/` directory where I did an
`wget -O gitea https://dl.gitea.io/gitea/1.17.1/gitea-1.17.1-linux-amd64`. The file downloaded successfully.

After starting the service again and navigating to the site it seems nothing has changed. The version shown at the bottom of the page is still 1.17.1.

Can anybody point me into the right direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mats

You propably mix up versions here, since 1.17.1 is the latest one; it was releases 19 days ago: [Release v1.17.1 · go-gitea/gitea · GitHub](https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/releases/tag/v1.17.1)
