# Notification only on mention

Hello!

I have a self-hosted Gitea with some users. Every time I comment on an issue, all users receive a notification by email. How to configure the system to deliver notification messages only to the issue participants or mentioned people?

Users can choose how to receive notifications in “user settings/account/Manage Email Addresses.”
