# Migrating Gitea from one server to another

Hi everyone!

I just started using Gitea on my new job. There came a request where we should switch servers. Basically I need to move gitea with all data from server 1 to server 2 and later make server 1 clean.

Is there a simple way to perform such migration? Thank you everyone in advance!

Copy all data from disk, all data from database and configurations to another server. And run the same version Gitea.
