Hi,

on [https://docs.gitea.io/en-us/database-prep/](https://docs.gitea.io/en-us/database-prep/) I red the preparation for PostgreSQL. password\_encryption should be changed to scram-sha-256. But in this case I will get problems with other applications which are using my local PostgreSQL instance.

It’s possible to use Gitea with

password\_encryption = md5

too? I ask this before the installation. Thx

Regards,
Rafal
