# Gitea Web Fronted Repository Code view paging

Hello,

i have the problem that there is a Git repository with more than 40000 files. If I try to load the Web Frontend of Gitea for the Code view it is extremely slow. Is there a possibility to configure paging for this site?

I know it is no good practice to have so much files in the root folder. But it is a customer repository where I do not have the possibility to move the files to folders.

Currently not. But we should have similiar issues posted on github.
