# Gitea Pull / Push so slow

I am working with a local instance of Gitea. Somehow, transfer speed is maxing out on push and pull at about 4 MiB/s. Simply copying files across the network from my computer to computer that is hosting Gitea.exe is between 40 - 100 MiB/s. Is there something in gitea that is throttling the connection speed?
