# Email for issue changes

Hi, I have a new gitea instance set up and am not getting emails sent on issue changes. Is there some way I can enable this?

The “send testing email” on the admin-\>configuration page works fine.

Not sure how I missed this:

ENABLE\_NOTIFY\_MAIL = true

Notifications are working now.
