# Documentation for older releases

Hi! I can’t figure out how to see the documentation for old releases on the site [https://docs.gitea.io/](https://docs.gitea.io/), for example 1.17.4. Do I need to change the URL somehow?

Unfortunately we don’t (yet) have versioned docs, although they are a WIP.

If you need docs from older versions, the “best” way is to probably view them directly in GitHub.

The names of the files should more or less match the URL that you would be looking at, so for example

> **[Config Cheat Sheet - Docs](https://docs.gitea.io/en-us/config-cheat-sheet/)**

is at

> <https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/blob/release/v1.17/docs/content/doc/advanced/config-cheat-sheet.en-us.md>
