# Custom "Update branch by merge" commit message

When updating a pull request in web gui, you have two options:

- Update branch by merge
- Update branch by rebase

Is it possible to customize the commit message when using merge? (I have’nt found)

I would like to prefix commit message with for instance “chore:”
