I created an account on [gitea.com](http://gitea.com) so that I can follow some repositories to get notifications when new versions are released. I used a password my password manager generated, however my password manager failed when saving the password so it’s lost. I can’t activate the account without the password though. I’ve tried resetting the password several times, however never receive a reset e-mail; probably gitea doesn’t send password reset e-mails for accounts that are not activated. Can you please remove the account so that I can start anew? Account username: sesa\_emation ---

I’m seeing the same activation problem, where a lost password leaves the account unable to complete activation and password-reset mail never arrives. An account-removal or admin-side reset path would be the practical way to recover without creating another username. ---
